In Malaysia to speak at World Engineering Education Forum WEEF – #ThinkBigDiversity Nov. 2017!

I’ve just arrived in Malaysia after spending the night in Shanghai to prepare to join my colleagues to lead a special session on the National Academy of Engineering’s Grand Challenges and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

This is an honor that I owe to a great friend and colleague, Dr. Christina White, who tapped me for this project, along with our collaborators, UNESCO’s Rovani Sigamoney (France), and Yevgeniya “Zhenya” Zastavker (Olin College).

In addition to the special session, we have a paper:

Parallel1: Parallel Session 1
Time: 14/Nov/2017: 11:30am-1:00pm · Location: Room 1

Exploring Intersections of Global Grand Challenges and Sustainable Development Goals

Christina White1, Renetta Tull2, Rovani Sigamoney3, Yevgeniya Zastavker4

1Grand Challenges Scholars Program, United States of America; 2UMBC; 3UNESCO; 4Northeastern University

So, as you might guess, I am finishing up a cup of black coffee, and am getting back to developing the slide deck for the talk. There will be more on this topic over the next few days. If you are at WEEF here in Malaysia, please come by to say hello!
