Today at LACCEI in Panama, I facilitated part of a session on diversity and partnerships. It was a good session and one that generated passionate discussion about engaging students in professional development activities. I was at the university for most of the day. Tonight at dinner, I was happy to learn that people were very interested in the paper that we presented on Tuesday. It’s always good to know that others find your work useful and worthwhile. This afternoon, we learned about some of the civil engineering constructs that were used for some of the modern high-rise buildings in Panama City. This has been a great conference! Here are some of the photos from the day.
